Spilled water on your MacBook or PC laptop? Turn it off, unplug the charger, and do not attempt to power it back on. The sooner the battery is disconnected and the computer is professionally inspected, the better the chance of preventing further damage.
The flat $195 liquid-damage service includes disassembly, battery disconnection, internal inspection, removal of accessible moisture, cleaning of affected areas when necessary, drying, reassembly, and hardware testing.
The $195 price applies to both Apple MacBooks and Windows PC laptops.
Because liquid damage is unpredictable, successful or permanent operation cannot be guaranteed. The computer may recover fully, partially, temporarily, or may not power on. The service charge covers the specialized work performed regardless of the final outcome.Book after a spill.
Data Backup
If the computer starts and the internal storage remains accessible, backing up important customer data is strongly recommended following any liquid exposure.
Data backup is not included in the $195 liquid-damage service. Backup, file transfer, and data verification are separate services billed at the standard rate of $110 per hour and will only be performed with customer approval.
